Nightlife
Concept
With "Traventure: Nightlife", the concept was to add an adults only set of games in the Traventure line of products, that could seamlessly be added to a game containing the other locations without feeling out of place.
New Locations
"Traventure: Nightlife" adds two new locations and minigames:
- Dublin
- Las Vegas
Adult Games
When thinking about what kind of games we wanted in a 21+ expandalone, two ideas immediately came to mind:
- Games of Chance
- Drinking Games
Two locations naturally lended themselves to these ideas in Las Vegas and Dublin.
This can be found along the traditional memento cards, trivia, and advantage cards that are included with every Traventure location.

Dublin
Come out and show your drinking, and ping pong prowess in the Irish Pub.
Lucky Shots
In this minigame, the players take on a group of bar challenges to win the bar cup for their bar.
On a player's turn, they will choose to attempt one of the three challenges on their Bar Card (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). If they succeed they earn a medal and get to give drink tokens to other players.
When any player completes their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Challenges. the game ends and each player fil
Las Vegas
Time to head to the casino and test your luck and card counting skills.
Go for the Jackpot
In this minigame, players will play a game of chance at a vegas casino and attempt to earn the most on their bets.
On a players turn they will place any bets they would like on one of the numbered spaces, then draw a card from the deck and all numbers matching those on the card reward the multiplier, and go into your winning pool.
There is also a space to bet on other players answering their trivia
Antiquities
Concept
With "Traventure: Antiquities", the concept was to add two iconic ancient locations into the game. We had an idea for a trading game for some time and Greece and its agora seemed like the perfect fit for it. For Egypt, we took inspiration from iconic tomb raiding movies like "The Mummy" and "Indiana Jones".
New Locations
"Traventure: Antiquities" adds two new locations and minigames:
- Greece
- Egypt
Added Complexity
From the beginning of Traventure Greece and Egypt have been iconic locations that were musts to be in the game. With Antiquities being the (hopefully) third expandalone it offered an opportunity to make some slightly more complex games for more seasoned players, while also keeping to the montra of quick to learn quick to play minigames.
- Trade in the Agora: With the Greece game, the idea to let players manage and trade resources to work to specific goals was rattling around for a while. Greece will allow for more player interaction and variety than previous games.
- Tomb Raiding: Inspired by old adventure movies and using some mechanics from old games I made, and retooling those mechanics to work in Traventure was a fun time. Allowing players more agency on deciding when the game ends was a new idea that was experimented with this location.

Greece
Ship your goods, make savvy trades and become the best merchant at the Agora.
Trading in Style
In this minigame, players are put into in the role of traders at the Greek Agora, and craft their products.
Each player will have two recipe cards that they must complete.
On their turn, a player will flip the next Merchant Card and earn their gift, then they will be able to make trades with their merchant or other players merchants to try and get the ingredients they need to complete their recipes,
Egypt
Take your expedition into the deserts of Egypt and reclaim the treasures of the pharaohs, while avoiding the curses of the past.
Unearth the Fun
In this minigame, players are put in the role of tomb raiders in Egyptian desert, with the goal of collecting Artifact Cards.
On their turn, a player moves around the board stopping at tombs, which they can raid by defeating traps. If you fail you may go back to start and leave the tomb less defended for the next player.
Once ten Artifacts are discovered or the Great Pyramid is raided the game ends,
